Mike Walker is an environmental scientist and a consultant who obtained a B.Sc. Degree in Environmental Science in 2002 from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, England.  Mike has over 21 years of environmental consulting experience in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors, 21 years of which have been in Alberta.  Mike’s background in environmental science, combined with considerable experience working with full service environmental consulting companies, has resulted in the completion of over 500 Phase I ESAs.  In the Spring of 2019 Mike became independent in order to focus primarily on conducting Phase I ESAs.

Other environmental experience within Alberta includes conducting Phase II ESAs, Phase II ESA Delineations, with some involvement in the completion of soil and groundwater remediation and the completion and implementation of Risk Management Plans.   Mike has also reviewed several Phase I ESA reports completed by other consultants on behalf of financial institutions to ensure the technical accuracy of methodology, regulatory compliance and validity of technical evaluations, findings and recommendations.
